After receiving his Associates Degree in Drafting and Design Technology from TSTC-Waco, Christopher began his professional career as a Drafter/Designer at Esquire Fire and Security where he worked on projects for Waco and Midway ISD. He then moved on to DFW Fire Protection where he primarily worked on the Terminal Renovation and Improvement Project at DFW Airport. Christopher then moved on to serve as a Drafter/Designer for DC Engineering, where he primarily worked on supermarket projects such as Winco Foods and Whole Foods.
