In 2011, David McDonald and Nick Rabroker chose to leave their former companies to start their own engineering firms. David created DKM Consulting, and Nick created Rabroker and Associates, PLLC. While their respective companies began to grow, they collaborated on several projects including K-12, higher education, clean rooms, laboratories, health care, restaurants, and retail.

After two years of having this great working relationship, they decided it was time to combine their engineering resources and years of experience into one firm. This decision has been met with immediate success.

Drew Williams, P.E. was recently added to our team of licensed engineers in May of 2014. Drew had a close working relationship with David for 4 years at their previous place of employment. Star of Texas Engineering has plans of expanding further in the Austin, San Antonio, Waco, and Temple area markets.
